Housebreaking dog?

We have a 8 month old mini poodle. She does do poop outside if we take her, which we do but she still does both in the house. Sometimes we’ll take her outside and she’ll come inside and go. Any ideas or suggestions on how she can let us know when she wants to go out. We try to take her out every 2-3 hours and still does it in the house. Is this a poodle thing. Will we ever get her trained. She’s a great dog and this is our only complaint about her – I’m at my wits end.

I suggest right after she eats

Sometimes small dogs have trouble holding it in, though she may have a bladder/bowel infection.

Put puppy pads at the door you want her to go out of, take her out every 15-30 minutes until she gets the idea, praise her every time she goes outside, crate her at night. The create should be big enough to allow her to stand up, turn around and lay dow, and that’s it. As a rule, dogs don’t like sleeping in their own mess. This will teach her to hold it. When you take her out, don’t come back in until she goes and have a treat for her so when she does go, she will soon learn she gets rewarded. When she goes in the house, take her right outside. Hope this helps.

it takes a few weeks to be trained but you have to train her,if you are gentle and she knows that you are very nice she will never listen to you,you need to show her whose boss and you need to call her at the door when its open

ps:if she pees in the house hit her
