Get a very wide dish or tote top…the bigger the better and fill it with very soapy water about 1 inch deep. Place this in an area of your house that has the most flea infestation. Place a swing-arm style light over the filled tote top or dish. Turn the lights out….the fleas will start jumping toward the light and get caught in the water and die. I tried this…and within 3 days…it looked like someone sprinkled black pepper in the water.

Do you rinse the shampoo out after 10 minutes? Also how did you get such a nice cat? My cat bite me and fights a bath – it takes two of us to hold her!

@gellyjurl Use kitten flea drops as normal flea drops is too strong.

    EmpireLS56KW:

I was thinking freezer! I know it so that will kill the fleas they have a tolerance to temperature. Well I toss empty the vacuum straight away!! I’ll try some cat shampoo and see if that combats most of it. I don’t have carpet so only tiled flooring so easy to clan the floor!

My kitten has fleas but my house isnt flea infested. I bought this cat from one of my uncles. He had a flea infestation. But i dont. Should i just do this to my cat. Or should i clean my house too. I had this kitten for about 2 days. Is that enough for my house to be infested?
